Set in 1999 the Y2K panic advert is funny. Viscous and sickening “drop”. Microfiche :) Interesting kid – a sprinkle of old school paranoia. I enjoy the lingo exchanges. Nice to see protagonist get caught a bit by a suspicious normal with a little intelligence. A conversation with an abrupt end you can feel coming. Traffic sign foreshadowing. Creepiest vacuuming ever. Why are there plugs in the grill? Effective dog walking ambience music. Nice window trick. Yeah – Oh. Intriguing. Feels a bit like a realistic Sin City.
2022 update…
Lucky drop
I like his side to side dance down a few steps.
The Y2K compliance experts… what a joke.
OMG that is vile.
I don’t approve of his business but there are degrees of evil.
This stage was more difficult back then when everyone didn’t have a smart phone.
Good old microfiche.
I’m getting a feeling of déjà vu.
I did see this before!!! Ugh.
