Somehow I got on another streak of watching films set in small towns. I just watched The Vast of Night.
I saw this years ago and it is still good.
Lots of interesting characters. I never noticed Megyn Price was in this. And on another strange twist I just was Dark Was the Night with Kevin Durand (very different characters).
I sympathize with Hank’s character a little now, while previously I thought he was a douche, even though douche was not a word back then.
Small town settings hold up well.
I never noticed people just skating to the store before.
This is a pre-ensemble cast movie.
